St. Peter's Annual Art Show

At the end of each school year, we celebrate the works of art our students have created throughout the school year. Each month, students explore the life and art of a famous artist and create their own art inspired by that artist’s work or style. We welcome family and friends to join students and browse thousands of works of art at our annual Art Show!

Our music teacher leads students in our annual Christmas Program and Spring Musical. Grades K-4 and grades 5-8 rotate, performing each event every other year.

Wildcat Night

While registration is online, there are still many details about the upcoming school year that are best shared in person. On this night, parents and students have the opportunity to pick up information and seek resources associated with our church and school for the upcoming school year. One week before the school year begins, our principal hosts this special night for our Wildcat families to meet and share fellowship.

New Family Orientation

New families have questions and we have answers! We enjoy hosting this night for new families to learn the ins and outs of a school day here at St. Peter’s. We simulate and walk through carline, lunch line, and many other daily routines. This night is also very beneficial to families and offers you a chance to meet other new families and share fellowship.

Meet Your Teacher K–2

This special meeting gives students and parents an opportunity to individually come and see their classroom, bring supplies, meet their teacher, and learn details of the upcoming school year prior to the first day of school.

Back to School Night 3–8

This night–held within the first two weeks of the school year–gives parents an opportunity to come and see your child’s classroom(s) and hear a presentation from his/her teacher(s) detailing their plans for the year ahead.

Field Trips

Each class has a variety of field trips during the school year. Many field trips are conducted during the spring, towards the end of the school year. This is a great opportunity to spend quality time with your child and to get to know the students in your child’s class.

Family and Friends Day

We invite students to bring grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other special adults with them on this day. The guests are invited to chapel in the church sanctuary and to the school for special activities.

Spelling Bee

Each fall, the middle school students are able to participate in an annual Spelling Bee. The winner is then able to represent St. Peter's in a city-wide spelling bee.

Middle School Art Club and Chess Club

Students in grades 5 - 8 have the opportunity to participate in our middle school Art and Chess Clubs. The programs are held after school for those students who have the desire to spend time on a current hobby or to pursue a new interest.

PTL

Throughout the school year, the Parent Teacher League is busy at St. Peter’s. Activities and fundraisers cannot be possible without the volunteer hours of the school parents. These volunteer hours are a vital part of our St. Peter’s family. We encourage parents to prayerfully consider helping out as often as possible. There is something for everyone!
